2013

I hope 2013 is a year...
...where the light shines bright, even through the dark and dreary stuff.
...where joy creeps into even the most mundane of daily tasks.
...where children continue to grow and thrive and challenge us to be better parents.
...where marriage grows stronger even amidst the busy-ness of these full and exhausting days.

This list could go on forever, I suppose.

I could fill in all of my goals, plans, resolutions.

Really, all I need to say is that I hope 2013 is a year where we dig deeper and grow closer...within our family, with our friends, with our community and above all with our Lord.

As I posted on my facebook wall on New Year's Eve:

I hope the New Year will be a year of New Mercies, New Opportunities, New challenges to grow through and New Mountaintops to dance upon.
